Globalink Voice-Over-IP Calling Cards
How do I Make Calls when I am not near an
Internet Connection?
Local Calling
Card Gateways
*
Call anywhere in the world from
any phone in the world and use your Globalink
calling plan by calling an Area Code Calling
Card Portal.
For the best results, use a calling
portal number that is a local call for
where you are, so that you don't pay any
long distance to get to the portal.
If you don't see any calling portal
numbers that are local calls from your
location, you can either use the
800 # calling portal , or some
people use their mobile phones, if they
have free nation-wide long distance on
their mobile plan, allowing them to call
any of the portal numbers in their
nation for free.
* Once
you call the portal number of your
choosing, you enter your Globalink
Virtual Phone Number and 5 digit PIN as
set in the Control Panel to call any
number, anywhere in the world (PSTN, IP,
Conference, Voicemail...). The
minutes used are a part of your
Globalink calling plan. (This
deducts applicable calling credit from
your account based on the number called
and/or your calling plan.)
UPDATE: It Got Easier!
You can now call without dialing your
pin ("Pinless dialing") if you
update our system with the phone numbers
you call from. Just go to MyLogin
and enter the phone numbers of the
phones you call from under the "virtual
numbers" tab, and you won't have to dial
the pin when you call from those
numbers. Our system will recognize
you.
For example:
If you call from your cell phone,
you can login to "MyLogin" and update
your info under the virtual numbers tab.
You will then be able to make calls from
your cell phone without dialing your
pin.
